Shillong:The Tibetan community in Shillong led by the Settlement Officer have made a donation of Rs 30,000 to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund as a sign of solidarity to their fellow residents as Wuhan origin, Covid-19 pandemic is rapidly spreading across India.
The Covid-19 toll as per the latest update by the Government of India, stands at 1466 active cases, 132 cured/discharged and 38 deaths at this moment.
To contain the transmission of the virus, the government has taken the strict measure of imposing lockdown on all of India for 21 days, with the suspension of everyday business and normal daily life.
