Dharamshala: On the occasion of World Hepatitis Day on 28 July, the Department of Health is marking the day with a virtual event of photo/sketch contest via social media, adhering to social distancing norms in view of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Therefore, the Department of Health, CTA invites Tibetans to participate in the photo/sketch contest to observe World Hepatitis Day on 28 July.

The theme of the photo/sketch contest focuses on a “Hepatitis-Free Future”. The participants have to upload a theme-based creative photograph or sketch on your Facebook page with # hepatitisfreefuture, together with a comment on how you can contribute towards a Hepatitis-free future. The contest is open to all the Tibetans who have their green book updated. This photograph or sketch will contribute to the Health Department’s efforts to raise awareness on preventing Hepatitis among the Tibetan community.

Winners will be awarded cash prizes as announced.

The closing date for the entries is on 26 July 2020. Photos or sketches will be judged on your creativity, the relevance of the theme, and the effectiveness of your message “How you can contribute towards a Hepatitis free future”. The winners will be announced on World Hepatitis day, i.e. 28 July 2020.
