DHARAMSHALA: Former Secretary Arya Pema Dadul is sworn in today as the new Auditor General of Central Tibetan Administration at a swearing-in ceremony held at the New Building in Gangchen Kyishong. The oath of office was administered by Chief Justice Commissioner Kargyu Dhondup. The ceremony was attended by CTA President Dr Lobsang Sangay, members of the Kashag, members of the Tibetan Parliament along with secretaries and heads of the various CTA departments and NGOs.
Brief Bio of Arya Pema Dadul
Arya Pema Dadul served as Senior Clerk and Joint-Secretary in the Office of Auditor General from 5 March 1982 to 1997. From July 1997 to May 2001, he served as the Director of Mentsekhang.
He later served as the Secretary of the Office of Auditor General from May 2001 to May 2002. Mr Dadul also served two years as Secretary of Tibetan Homes School, Mussoorie, from May 2002 to 2004. From May 2004 to 2005, he served as the Secretary of Chief Justice Commission. Next, he served as the Secretary of History Documentation and Interim Placement Section, Kashag from May 2007 to July 2007. Following his two-month service, he served as the Secretary of Department of Health, CTA for a year from July 2007 to March 2008. Mr Dadul has retired since 20 March 2008 and is currently residing in Toronto, Canada.
