Members of the Entrepreneurship Club at TCV School, Bylakuppe participates in the ‘40 under 40: South India’s most vibrant young entrepreneurs’ event, conducted by The New Indian Express
Dharamshala, June 11th, 2018: The Tibetan Children’s Village (TCV) School, Bylakuppe, in collaboration with the Tibetan Entrepreneurship Development (TED) initiative of the Department of Finance, Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) and funded by USAID through the Tibet Fund, supports the entrepreneurship club at the School which organises various activities to promote and encourage entrepreneurship. This club recently was invited to participate in the ‘40 under 40: South India’s most vibrant young entrepreneurs’, conducted by The New Indian Express at Hyderabad.
The Event showcased upcoming and successful entrepreneurs from the region and also had prominent speakers and dignitaries from various fields including Minister for IT, industries, municipal administration and urban development KT Rama Rao. During the event, the participants from the TCV School were acknowledged to a loud applause from the crowd.
The TED initiative of the Department of Finance, CTA aims to be the catalyst in developing and nurturing entrepreneurship in the community by organising various events activities. TED recently in collaboration with the TCV School Bylakuppe have been successful in providing the opportunity to study entrepreneurship as part of their mainstream curriculum recognised by the CBSE. Entrepreneurship will be given as an optional 6th subject to the class 11 and class 12 students.
