After a routine medical check-up, doctors pronounce His Holiness the Dalai Lama in great health

DHARAMSALA, 21 October, 2001: His Holiness the Dalai Lama was due for a routine medical check-up in Paris. Since his Paris visit was cancelled due to the ongoing developments in Afghanistan, he chose to have his routine medical check-up at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai. The doctors there declared him to be in great health for a person of his age.

Today His Holiness the Dalai Lama leaves Mumbai for New Delhi. In the early morning of 22 October His Holiness the Dalai Lama flies to Strasbourg where he is scheduled to address the European Parliament.
