Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation
The DoH, realizing the importance of community involvement in any of the health care programs has formed a health committee in each settlement to implement and evaluate the health care programs at the project site. The committee meets at least three times a year to discuss and plan improvements to health care services in their settlements. The settlement officers, the chairman of the committee, and the health center-in-charge, who is also the secretary of the committee, are responsible for implementing and reporting on each health care project to the DoH.
The DoH’s project officers monitor and evaluate the health services through feedback from health centers in the form of periodic reports as well as during field visits.
