Kalon Takla visits Ireland

Dharamshala: Kalon Kesang Y Takla, Kalon for the Department of Information and International Relations has arrived in Irish capital of Dublin on 27 April, after concluding her two-day visit to London on last Saturday.
She was received at the Dublin Airport by Neil Steedman, chairman of the Tibet Support Group in Ireland and Namgyal Damdul, president of Tibetan Community in Ireland.
Kalon Takla's crucial visits to European countries is a part of ongoing efforts by the Central Tibetan Administration to seek support in resolving the issue of Tibet and bringing normality inside Tibet.
In London, Kalon Takla addressed an evening talk on the current crisis in Tibet at a musical concert dedicated to "dialogue and peace in Tibet", organised jointly by the Kailash Centre and the Office of Tibet.
Yesterday, she met with Tibetan Community in Ireland, followed by a meeting with the members of Irish Tibet Support Groups.
On the morning of 28 April, Kalon Takla will give a radio interview with RNN, Lower Leeson Street.
Later in the afternoon, she will attend a meeting with Rory Montgomery, Political Director and Isolde Moylan, Asia Counsellor at the Department of Foreign Affairs. She is also expected to meet with Panchen Otrul Rinpoche.
On 29 April, she will meet Dr Michael Woods TD, Chairman of the Joint
Committee on Foreign Affairs. Later, she will attend a meeting with Human Rights Subcommittee of Foreign Affairs Committee at Leinster House.
Next day, on 30 April, she will speak to East Coast FM Radio, Bray, Co Wicklow, followed by an afternoon meeting All-Party Oireachtas Group for Tibet in Dail Eireann. On the same, she will fly to London.
