Kalon Takla's Europe Visit: Update

Dharamshala:Kalon Kesang Y Takla, Kalon for the Department of Information and International Relations has called for sending fact-finding delegations by international community into Tibet and to resume dialogue between His Holiness the Dalai Lama's representatives and the Chinese government.
Kalon Takla has also appealed for the improvement of human rights in Tibet and China. She is currently in Norway as a part of her Europe visit and scheduled to leave for Sweden on 19 April.
In Norway, Kalon Takla was officially received by representative from the opposition party MP Mr Olamic Thomassen and ruling party MP Mr Olav Gunner Ballo, who is also chairman of parliamentary group for Tibet.
She attended a seminar on Tibet by the think tank corporate Civita. She shared the stage with four panelists, including Chungdak Koren, leader of the Norwegian Tibet Committee, a member of the opposition party in the Norwegian parliament, an expert on China and a member of the National Olympic Committee, who is a former athlete. The seminar was broadcast live. Other participants were diplomats, industrialists, and staff from Chinese embassy and other Chinese.
She is scheduled to attend a meeting with members of working group of Norwegian experts for Norway - China human right dialogue. She will also pay a visit to the International Peace Research Institute, Oslo (PRIO).
Kalon Takla's trip to Denmark from 14 - 16 April was on the invitation of Socialist People's Party (SF) congress. In Denmark, she addressed a gathering of some 700 delegates at a seminar. "This is their way of showing support to our course and the events in Tibet. I am deeply touched," Kalon Takla said.
In both countries she was met by MPs, foreign policy committee of parliaments, officials from ministry of foreign affairs, Norwegian Nobel committee, industrialist, NGOs, Tibet support groups and Tibetan communities.
There has been extensive media coverage of her visit by various channels, including national and private TV channels, popular talk shows and major newspapers of respective countries.
