Kalon Tripa to Inaugurate National Conference of Indo-Tibet Friendship Society
Dharamsala, 16 December: Under the presidentship of the former speaker of the Indian Parliament Shri Rabi Ray, the All India Convention of India-Tibet Friendship Society will be held in Jodhpur from 25-27 December, according to a release from Mr. Manoj Singh, Organising Secretary of the India-Tibet Friendship Society.
Kalon Tripa Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche will inaugurate the convention.
The convention forms a part of the celebration of 2004 as the Year of Tibet, and is expected to adopt a course of action to intensify the activities of Tibet Support Groups in India.
