Your Excellency,

On behalf of the Kashag and the Central Tibetan Administration, I would like to offer you our congratulations for winning the Presidential election. This mandate from the American people is a clear indication of the American people's trust in your leadership and their hope that America will lead the world towards peace, prosperity and happiness.

I take this opportunity to express our administration's heartfelt appreciation for your support for the efforts of His Holiness the Dalai Lama to resolve the issue of Tibet peacefully.
