Kalon Tripa Leaves For Varanasi, Europe
Dharamsala 19 October: Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche, the Kalon Tripa of the Central Tibetan Administration, left Dharamsala on an official tour to New Delhi, Varanasi, Germany, Croatia and Hungary. Rinpoche will address the inaugural ceremony of a Youth Leadership workshop organised by the Central Institute of Higher Tibetan Studies, Varanasi.
Rinpoche will leave for Frankfurt where he is to attend a two-day seminar on Universal Culture of Help. He is also expected to meet various dignitaries in Frankfurt. Rinpoche will be in Hamburg, Germany, where he has been invited to speak on Peace and Non-Violence. Rinpoche will visit the Hungarian capital of Budapest where he will meet with important dignitaries and members of the Hungarian Tibet Support Group.
Rinpoche will be in Croatia from 1 November for four days. The Tibet Support Group there has invited Rinpoche to speak on Satyagraha.
Rinpoche returns to Dharamsala on 8 November.
