TYC Elects New Executive Members
Dharamsala 9 September: The largest non-governmental organisation of the exile Tibetan community yesterday elected its new executive members. Members from more than 70 regional chapters of the Tibetan Youth Congress have gathered in Dharamsala to attend the 12th General Body Meeting which concluded yesterday at the auditorium of the Tibetan Children’s Village School (TCV), lower Dharamsala.
Mr. Godrukpa Kelsang Phuntsok retains his post as the president while Mr. Lobsang Yeshi (Bylakupee and former executive) has been elected his deputy. Mr. Tsultrim Dorjee (former executive member) has also retained his post as General Secretary.
Other executive members whose posts will be decided later are Gadong Jigme (former executive member) Pema Yangchen (Dharamsala), Nima Wangmo(Dharamsala),Sherab Woser (Dharamsala), Tsering Dhondup (Shimla), Dhondup Dorjee(Delhi) and Tsering Lhakyab(Bylakupee).
