His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s Central Tibetan Relief Committee (CTRC):

1. Post: Agricultural Extension Officer (AEO)

No. of Vacancy: 2 (Bylakuppe)

Qualification : Minimum Class XII pass with interest and experience in Organic farming.

Preferable: B.Sc Agri. or undergone Organic training program & workshop.

Age limit: 25-35 (as on 30/4/2008)

Pay Scale: Class 12 Pass 4050 - 5135

Graduate 4500 - 5865

B.Sc.(Agri.) 4725 - 6760

Job Descriptions:


1. Research & Demonstration on Organic Farming.
2. Promote awareness on Natural & Organic farming , Soil & Water conservation, agro-forestery, horticulture & compost preparation.
3. Establish rapport with the local Indian Agricultural Institutions and experts.
4. Annual report and maintaining financial statement on due time.

II Post: Co-operative Trainer

No. of Vacancy: 1 (Dharamsala)

Qualification: B.Com with higher Diploma in co-operative Management

OR

B.Com with minimum 3 yrs working experience in co-operative Society.

OR

10+2(Commerce) with minimum 5 yrs working experience in co-operative Society.

Job description:


1. Annual training to Board of Directors, staffs and shareholders of the Tibetan Co-operatives and making them informed in latest development in related field.
To prepare projects and apply to the concern donor for funding as per action plan.
To organize training on co-operative management, Budgeting and to conduct workshop in relation with co-operatives.
To evaluate the project so implemented and report in due course of time to submit to the concern donors and higher authority.

III Post: Regional Programe Officer (REPRO)

No. of Vacancy: 3 (For 2 year contractual job)

Qualification: Graduate in any field from the recognized University.

Age Limit: Under 35 (as on 30/4/2008)

Pay Scale: 4500-5865

Job Description:


1. To collect information, by visiting every settlement under his/her jurisdiction every year, of all the youth who got trained with soft-skills, and benefited with soft-loan under Youth Empowerment Support programme.
2. To empower youth through appropriate guidance and motivation.
3. To support the trained youth in promoting micro-enterprises for becoming self-reliant.

IV Post: Nurse

No. of Vacancy: 1 (Jampaling Old People Home, Dharamsala)

Qualification: Minimum 4 year Diploma in General Nursing from recognized University/Institute

Age Limit: 25 - 45 (as on 30/4/2008)

Pay Scale: 4500-5865

Job Description:


1. Nursing 156 old people for 24 hrs a day.
2. General health care of all the elders.
3. Visit to hospitals in pathankot / Chandigarh for medical treatment.

V Post: Care Taker.

No. of Vacancy: 1 (Jampaling Old People Home, Dharamsala)

Qualification: Preference will be given to applicant with fluency in English & Hindi

Age Limit: 25 - 40 (as on 30/4/2008)

Pay Scale:3500-4800

Job Description:


1. Daily cleanliness of rooms & surrounding. 2. Care taking of sick & infirm elders.
3. Helping Hospitalized elders.

General Condition for the above mentioned post vacancies.


1. Attested copies of the required certificates/marksheets.
2. Any applicant working in Government, Non Government or any Autonomous Bodies will have to produce a ‘No Objection Letter’ from their respective organization. They should also submit a certificate from their Head of Office/Establishment that no vigilance and/or disciplinary case is pending or under currency of penalty.
3.Attested Copies of first and last pages of Registration certificates (R.C) and duely paid Green Book.
4. Medical fitness certificates from any affiliated hospitals.
5. The qualified applicant must go through written and interview test in Tibetan, English and computer (Optional) for the final selection.
6. All the document copies must be attested either by the settlement officer or by CTA staff holding any post above Joint Secretary.
